12-11 EthernetAC30 series Variable Speed InvertersTROUBLESHOOTING THE ETHERNETThe following parameters are useful for monitoring the IP settings:0929 IP Address0928 Subnet Mask0931 Gateway AddressThe state of the Ethernet can be monitored using the parameter 944 Ethernet State, normal operation is when the state is RESOLVED IP, andfrom the GKP iconNo IP address - flashing GKP iconNormally, once the inverter is connected to a network, the GKP Ethernet icon will flash for a short period as the IP address is being resolved, andthen will become a solid icon indicating an IP address has been set. If the icon continues to flash for more than 1 – 2 minutes this can indicate aproblem. Check the parameter 0919 Ethernet State.Resolving IPThe inverter is waiting for a valid IP address to be set automatically, or manually using the parameters:0933 User IP Address0934 User Subnet Mask0935 User Gateway AddressNote that the IP address must be set to a non-zero value.Resolving DHCPThe inverter is waiting for a DHCP server to provide an IP address. If there is no DHCP server detected on the network then the Ethernet willstay in this state. If there is no DHCP server the IP address may be obtained using Auto-IP or set manually.Duplicate IPAnother device on the network with the same IP address has been detected. This will cause communication issues. The Duplicate IP warningwill clear after approximately 1 minute once the conflicting device has been removed or the IP address changed.
