Press the two red release buttons on the brewing unit towards eachother and pull the brewing unit out of the appliance.Note:The brewing unit can only be removed if the appliance is switched off.Attempting to remove the brewing unit while the appliance is switched on maycause serious damage.5 Clean the brewing unit under a hot tap. Do not use any cleaningagents.Never clean the brewing unit in the dishwasher.6 Carefully clean the inside of the appliance.Scrape away coffee residues caked to parts inside the appliance with aplastic or wooden fork. Then suck up all the residues with a vacuum cleaner.7 To put the brewing unit back into the appliance, slide it onto thesupports and the pin at the bottom.8 Press on the ‘PUSH’ area until the brewing unit snaps into place.Note: After you hear the clicks, make sure the red buttons have snappedoutwards. Otherwise the service door cannot be closed.Note: If you cannot insert the brewing unit, press the unit firmly from aboveand below at the same time and then try to insert it. If you still cannot insertthe brewing unit, close the service door, unplug the appliance and then plugit in again.Wait for all the lights to go off after the self-check, then open theservice door and reinsert brewing unit.EnglisH6
