Ifthere is a conflict you must change it to avoid ambiguity between thetwo interfaces.The instructions below explain how to change the IP address on theservice port. You can only change the subnet (third octet) of the IPaddress: 192.168.xxx.1. The other sections must remain as they are. Youmay choose a number from 1 to 255.You can only configure the service network from the operator panel.Operator Panel1 Select Tools > Service Network.Under “Modify Subnet” the first digit of the three-digit octet of theIP address is highlighted.2 Use the Left and Right buttons to select a digit to modify. Use theUp and Down buttons to select a value for the digit. When youpress the Right button to the third digit, its function changes toApply.3 When you finish making changes, press the Right button until itsfunction changes to Apply, then press Apply.4 Press OK.5 Save the library configuration (see Saving the Library Configurationon page 101).Working With Local User AccountsAdministrative users can create and modify two types of local useraccounts: user and administrative user. These users have different libraryprivilege levels and can access different things. The Web client requiresuser accounts and user logins; the operator panel does not. You canconfigure the operator panel to run with no logins required. You canalso configure the library to use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol(LDAP) accounts.
