Each expansion module up tothe seventh expansion module adds from 300 to 456 LTO cartridge slotsdepending on the number of tape drives installed and whether an I/Estation is installed. See Figure 7 on page 12 for location information.In Gen 1 configurations, the library’s maximum configuration includesup to 11 expansion modules for a total of 12 modules. in Gen 2configurations, up to 16 modules can be added.
