If the PIP window is displayed, andyou change the PIP input (by pressing WHO•INPUT) to COMP2, PIP is notdisplayed. If you press the PIP button while viewing COMP2, the PIPwindow is not available. (N/A) appears in the channel marker.PIP ButtonsThere are seven remote buttons that control the way the PIP windowworks:PIP Brings up the PIP window. Press PIP again to remove thewindow.If you selected Alternate with PIP button in the PIP Closed-CaptionDisplay menu, press the PIP button when the PIP window is on thescreen to toggle between PIP on, PIP on with closed captions, and PIPoff.MOVE buttons let you move the PIP window to differentareas of the screen.SWAP Switches, or “swaps,” the video from the PIP windowwith the main picture.CH CTRL (Channel Control) Lets you switch channel controlbetween the PIP window and the main picture.For instance, press PIP to bring up the PIP window. You can changechannels by entering channel numbers or pressing the CH^ (channel up) orCHv (channel down) buttons. When you press the CH CTRL button thechannel control switches to the main picture. You can now changechannels in the main picture by entering channel numbers or pressing theCH^ or CH v buttons.Press CH CTRL again to return the channel control to the PIPwindow.Two Tips for Using PIP ButtonsSkip to PIP: Channel Surfing in the Main PictureYou can surf through the channels during commercial breaks using theSKIP and CH (channel) buttons.1. Press SKIP to set the commercial skip timer and bring up the PIPwindow.2. Press the CH ^ or CH v buttons to surf through the channels in themain picture. When the SKIP feature times out, the main picture willtune to the original channel automatically.Channel Surfing in the PIP WindowYou can use the PIP window to surf through channels as well.1. Press PIP to bring up the PIP window.2. Press the CH^ or CHv buttons. The TV begins displaying each channelin the PIP window. If you see a channel that interests you, press SWAP.A typical use of SWAP is to scan throughchannels in the PIP window, and whenyou find a channel you like, press SWAPto display that channel in the mainpicture, sending the current channel tothe PIP window.Movebuttons
