Extended high-vol-ume listening can lead to perma-nent hearing loss.• Set the volume to the lowest set-ting before you begin listening. After you begin listening, adjustthe volume to a comfortable level.• Once you set the volume, do notincrease it. Over time, your earsadapt to the volume level, so a vol-ume level that does not cause dis-comfort might still damage yourhearing.Traffic SafetyDo not use headphones with your re-ceiver when operating a motor vehicleor riding a bicycle in or near traffic.Doing so can create a traffic hazardand could be illegal in some areas. If you use headphones with your re-ceiver, be very careful.
