Press M/MEM. MEMO flashes forabout 12 seconds. The number forthe first available empty memorylocation for the selected pageflashes next to MEMO.Note: If an empty memory loca-tion number does not flash, allmemory locations are full in theband you selected. If this hap-pens, clear a memory location(see “Deleting a Station YouStored” on Page 30) then storethe frequency. Or, to replace astored frequency with a new fre-quency, repeatedly press TUN-ING or to select a newfrequency, press M/MEM, thenpress the number key for thememory location. After a few sec-onds, the receiver beeps andstores the new frequency in thememory location.5. Press ENTER to store the fre-quency in the flashing memorylocation.
