29SERVICING - WARNINGDisconnect from the electricity before servicing. Check appliance is safe when you have finished.11. To Change Oven Door Outer PanelRemove the two plastic blanking plugs from the doorhandles. Remove the 4mm Hex headed screws holding thehandle to the door with the hexagon key tool. Remove twoscrews from top edge and two from bottom edge of thedoor.Remove outer door panel. Fit door handle to new panel. Fitthe plastic blanking plugs to the fixing holes.The handles should be above the fixings.Fit panel to door. If replacing the outer panel on the righthand door (with the Thermodial) take care to make sure thesensor of the Thermodial is sealed to the door by the rubbergrommet.Reassemble in reverse order.7. To Remove a ThermostatLift up the ceramic hob top (see 2). Remove control panel(see 4). Open appropriate oven door and remove ovenfurniture.Right hand ovenRemove thermostat phial cover (2 screws). Unclip thethermostat phial from the clips in the oven back.Left hand ovenPull cooker forward to gain access to the cover box atthe rear of the cooker. Remove the screws securing thecover and lift clear.Feed the thermostat capillary out of the oven. Disconnectwiring from thermostat. Remove 2 screws holdingthermostat to mounting panel. Fit new thermostat andreassemble in reverse order. Ensure that the phial is clippedto the oven back with the phial centrally positionedbetween the clips.Check operation of thermostat.8. To Change Grill ControllerLift up the ceramic hob top (see 2). Remove controlpanel (see 4). Disconnect wiring from controller. Remove2 screws holding controller to mounting panel. Fit newcontroller and reassemble in reverse order. Check for correctoperation.9. To Remove Grill Outer Door PanelOpen left hand oven door and remove 2 screws frombottom edge of grill door. Open grill door, support grill doorouter panel and remove two screws from top inner face ofgrill door.Reassemble in reverse order.10. To Remove an Oven DoorOpen oven door and remove Handyrack (where fitted)by springing one side out of the bracket on the door andsliding the other side free.Door is heavy - take care. Open the oven door. Loosen thetwo top hinge screws.Support the weight of the door and remove the screwnearest the hinge pin. Swing the hinge up and away fromthe hinge pin on the door.Lift the door away from the bottom hinge.Re-assemble in reverse order.When replacing the door ensure that the nylon hinge bushis in position between the hinge pin and the hinge bracketat the both the bottom and top.
