9To start & stop the oven automaticallyBefore you set the clock, you must have twonumbers clearly in mind.The ‘cook time’, which is the period of time youwant the oven to cook.The ‘stop time’, which is the time of day you wantthe oven to stop cooking.You cannot set a start time directly - this is setautomatically by setting the cooking period andstop time.Turn the Timer knob tothe ( ) position.Use the Adjusting knob toset the ‘cooking time’ youneed.Turn the Timer knob tothe ( ) position.The display will show thecurrent time of day plusthe ‘cook period’ you justset.Use the Adjusting knobto set the ‘Stop time’ youneed.‘Stop Time’ shows. AUTOwill show in the display.Set the oven(s) to the cooking temperature youneed (don’t forget to set a function if using theMulti-function oven).Turn the Timer knob to the (AUTO) setting.When your cooking is finished the beeper sounds.Turn the Timer knob to the vertical ( ) to return tomanual cooking.If you are out, don’t worry about the beeper goingoff, it stops after a while. When you return, turn theTimer knob to the vertical ( ) position to returnto manual cooking. Turn the thermostat to the offposition.AUTO is showing, you want to reset tomanual cooking.You can cancel any automatic settings by turningthe Timer knob to the vertical manual symbol ( ).Clock Special Features - Key LockWhen the key lock is activated, the clock can beoperated as usual but the ovens are locked andwill not come on. This means that your child couldselect a cook program but the program will not beactivated and ovens will not switch on.To activate the key lockMake sure that the clock is in manual mode andcancel any active programs.Turn and hold the Timerknob to the clock symbol( ) for about 8 seconds.‘On’ will appear on thedisplay.Keep holding the Timerknob turned to the clocksymbol ( ) and turn theAdjusting knob clockwiseuntil the key symbol( ) and ‘Of’ shows on thedisplay. Let go of theknobsThe ovens are nowlocked. After a fewseconds the display willrevert to show the time ofday and the key symbol.To turn off the key lockTurn and hold the Timerknob to the clock symbol( ) for about 8 seconds.‘Of’ will appear on thedisplay.Keep holding the Timerknob turned to the clocksymbol ( ) and turn theAdjusting knob clockwiseuntil the key symbol( ) goes out on the displayand ‘On’ shows. Let go ofthe knobs.
