16The Oven side liningsThe oven has removable oven side lining panelsthat have been coated with special enamel thatpartly cleans itself. This does not stop all markson the lining, but helps to reduce the amount ofmanual cleaning needed.The self cleaning panels work betterabove gas Mark 6. If you do most of yourcooking below this temperature,occasionally remove the panels and wipewith a lint free cloth and hot soapy water.The panels should then be dried andreplaced and the oven heated at GasMark 7 for about one hour. This willensure the self cleaning panels areworking effectively.Don’t use steel wool (Brillo) or any othermaterials that will scratch the surface. Don’t useoven cleaning pads.Before cleaning the oven, cover the burner at therear to stop the holes getting blocked as youclean. If they are accidentally blocked, cleanthem out with thin wire, such as fuse wire.Removing the Oven LiningsThe lining panels can be removed for cleaningand for cleaning behind. Remove the shelvesfirst.Each side of the oven is fixed with four fixingscrews. You don’t have to remove the screws toremove the oven linings. Lift each side panelupwards and they will slide off the screws. Thenpull them forwards.Once the linings are removed, the oven enamelinterior can be cleaned.Moving your cookerSwitch off the electricity supply.The cooker is heavy, two people may berequired to move it. The cooker * fittedwith one roller at the front and two at theback. There are also two screw downlevelling feet at the front.The front roller, designed for moving the cookercan be wound down. The levelling tool whichcontrols this roller is in the storage drawercompartment.Remove the storage drawer (by pulling itright out and lifting it up slightly) and youshould see the levelling tool.Your installer may not have left the levelling toolin place. If not, locate it as shown. If you cannotfind the levelling tool, contact your installer.See the front of the installation section of theseinstructions.Turn the levelling tool clockwise, two full(180°) turns. It will be stiff. The front ofthe oven will rise slightly as the rollerdrops down.Open the grill door and right hand oven door sothat you can get a good grip on the bottom of thefascia panel as you move the oven.Do not move the oven by pulling thehand rail, door handles or knobs.
