SAMSUNG DCS PROGRAMMINGTECHNICAL MANUAL December 1996MMC: 414 MPD/PRS SIGNALDESCRIPTION:This MMC assigns CO lines to be accepted either Metering Pulse or Polarity Reversal Signal on a pertrunk basis. Metering Pulse detection is required to install Metering Pulse Detection Unit on a trunkcard. Polarity Reversal Signal provided by the C.O may be arrived to the system when the other partyanswers the outgoing call or the outside party clears the call when you are on a C.O line. If the trunkassigned as PRS detection call duration time will be generated on an SMDR record once the PRShas been detected. Moreover, PRS detection is essential for dropping C.O-C.O conversation withunsupervised by the internal party.ACTION DISPLAY1. Press TRSF 414Display shows[701] MPD/PRSMPD2.
