Connections 109Wi-Fi DirectWi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you cantransfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection.Note: See your service plan for applicable charges forWi-Fi Direct.1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings➔ Wi-Fi.2. If it is not already On, touch the ON/OFF button to turnWi-Fi ON3. Touch More options ➔ Wi-Fi Direct. The device willautomatically scan for other devices with Wi-Fi Directenabled.4. Enable Wi-Fi Direct on the other device with which youwant to connect.The steps on the other device may vary depending onthe device. Refer to the documentation for that device.5. If the other device has not appeared on your device,then touch Scan on your device.6. Once the device you want to connect to displays,touch it.7. The other device has a limited to touch Connect toaccept and establish the connection.8. Once connected, the other device will show asConnected in your list of Wi-Fi Direct devices and theicon will display at the top of your screen.9. When finished, touch End connection to terminate theWi-Fi Direct connection.
