From the Settings screen, touch More networks.The following options display:Default Messaging AppThis option allows you to set the default messaging app thatyou can use to send all of your messages. Options depend onthe messaging apps available on your device.Mobile NetworksBefore you use applications such as Google Maps and findyour location or search for places of interest, you mustenable the Mobile networks options. Touch Mobile networks to display the following options:• Mobile data: Touch to create a check mark and activate thefeature. To enable data access over the mobile network, thisoption must be selected. It is set on by default.• Data roaming: Touch to create a check mark and activate thefeature. Data roaming causes your device to connect to yourservice provider’s partner networks and access data serviceswhen you are out of your service providers area of coverage.• Access Point Names: To use Wi-Fi you need access to awireless access point (hotspot). Touch to display a list of theAccess Point names. The active access point displays a green,filled circle to the right of the name.• Network operators: Using this feature you can view thecurrent network connection. You can also scan and select anetwork operator manually, or set the network selection toAutomatic. The current network connection displays at thebottom of the list.Important! You must deactivate data service prior to searchingfor an available network.VPNThe VPN settings menu can be used to set up and manageVirtual Private Networks (VPNs).Before using VPN, you must first set up a screen unlock PINor password. For more information, refer to “Home Screen”on page 169.Important! Before you can use a VPN you must establish andconfigure one.
