OfficeServ 7200 Installation Manual© SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. 2-92.5 Connecting Grounding WiresThis section describes how to connect an external grounding wire to the OfficeServ 7200.External GroundingExternal grounding is required to prevent human injuries or system damagescaused by lightning, static electricity, or voltage surge.The ground line should be a copper line with a cross section of 4.0 mm2 or larger.Do not use a general AC grounding. If you use a general AC grounding, thesystem may have an abnormal symptom due to noise generated from otherdevices which use the AC power grounding.As shown in the figure below, earth to the ground lug behind the OfficeServ 7200.For an extension cabinet, connect and ground the external ground wire between theextension cabinet and a basic cabinet.Figure 2.14 GroundingChecking the External GroundingBefore starting your OfficeServ 7200 after installation, make sure to checkwhether the grounding terminal at the back of the system cabinet is connected toan external grounding.This page is intentionally left blank. |
