16Section 3: Menu NavigationThis section explains the menu navigation for your phone. It alsoincludes an outline of all the available menus associated with yourphone. Some menu options are controlled by the SIM provided byyour service provider.Menu NavigationMenus and sub-menus can be accessed by scrolling through themusing the Navigation keys or by using the shortcut keys.Accessing a Menu Function by Scrolling1. In Idle mode, press and scroll using the Navigationkeys to reach a main menu item, Settings for example.Press the Select soft key or the key to enter themenu.2. If the menu contains sub-menus, Phone for example, youcan access them by first highlighting the option and then bypressing the Select soft key or the key. If the menuyou selected contains further options, repeat this step.3. To scroll through these menus, press either the Up or DownNavigation key or the Volume key (located on the left sideof your phone). Press the Select soft key or the key tomake your selection.4. To return to the previous menu level, press the Back softkey ( ).5. To exit the menu without changing the settings, press thekey.
