Tools 71Speak clearly when giving your command. There is no need foryou to speak slowly or with added emphasis. The voice recognitionsoftware has been optimized to understand your speech in itsnatural form. If it does not recognize your command after a fewseconds, a voice prompt asks you to repeat the command. If itdoes not recognize your command again, the following messagedisplays “Sorry, no match found,” and voice recognition turns off.You must end your current Voice Commands call before you canmake another call using Voice Commands. You can only originatethe first call in a 3-way call using Voice Commands.Voice Recognition Tips• Wait for the tone before you speak.• Speak clearly and at a normal volume.• There is no need to use paused speech. The voice recognition softwarehas been trained to recognize natural speech, and performs best whenyou speak naturally.• In very noise environments, it may be helpful to use a headset or aBluetooth headset.Contacts List Voice ActivationOn startup, Nuance Voice Recognition software reads yourContacts list and voice-activates all the names.When you add or change contacts, the software automaticallyreloads and voice-activates the list when you add or modify acontact.Record AudioRecord Audio allows you to record voice memos. It also allows youto send your audio clip to other people as an attachment to anMMS message. Recording time is limited to free memory spaceavailable. Recorded audio clips are saved to the Recorded Audiofolder (see “Audio” on page 65).1. In Idle mode, press Tools, and press the Selectsoft key or the key.2.
