Call functions28Prepend dialingThe Prepend option lets you add digits, such as areacodes and network feature activation codes, to aphone number that is in your call logs before dialingit.To prepend the phone numbers stored in the calllogs:1. Access a call log in the Recent Calls list referringto page 27 or in the Calls menu (Menu 1).2. When the phone number you want to dialhighlights, press the Select soft key.The display shows the details of the number.3. Press the Menu soft key to access the Menupop-up list.4. Press the 3 key to select the Prepend option.5. Enter the area code or feature code.6. Press the key to dial the number.Call functions29Speed dialingOnce you have stored phone numbers in Phonebook, you can dial them easily with the few pressesof the keys.One-touch dial: Memory locations 0001 through0009 are special one-touch locations. You can dialthe phone numbers stored in the Phone bookmemory from 0001 through 0009 simply bypressing one key.Press and hold the fourth digit of the memorylocation containing the number to be dialed.For example: Location no. 0009Press the 9 key and hold.The number (and name) stored displays, then dials.Two-touch dial: For memory locations of twodigits.Press the third digit briefly, then hold down thefourth digit of the memory cell.For example: Location no. 0023Press the 2 key briefly and hold downthe 3 key.The number (and name) stored displays, then dials.Three-touch dial: For memory locations of threedigits.Press the second and third digits briefly, then holddown the fourth digit of the memory cell.For example: Location no. 0123Press the 1 and 2 key briefly and holddown the 3 key.The number (and name) stored displays, then dials.
