Eachmenu and sub-menu allows you to view andalter the settings of a particular function.The roles of the soft keys vary according to thefunction you are currently using; the labels onthe bottom line of the display just above eachkey indicates its current role.Example:Service ProviderFri 05 SepMenu NamePress the left softkey to access theMenu mode.Press the right softkey to access thePhone Book feature.Quickly Switching to Silent ModeSilent mode is convenient when you wish to stopthe phone from ringing, in a theatre forexample.In Idle mode, press and hold the key untilthe “Silent Mode” message and the Vibrationicon ( ) display.In Silent mode, your phone changes the soundsettings as follows:Option New SettingAlert Type (Menu 6.3) VibrationKeypad Tone (Menu 6.4) OffMessage Tone (Menu 6.5) Light + VibrationSlider Tone (Menu 6.6) OffPower Off tone OffError Tone (Menu 6.9.1) OffTo exit and reactivate the previous soundsettings, press and hold the key again until“Exit Silent Mode” appears.
