There are three cases; Capital Lock( ),Lower case( ) and Initial Capital( ).ScrollingYou can move the cursor through the text byusing the Left or Right keys.Clearing Letters and WordsTo delete letters, press the C key. Press and holdthe C key to clear the display.Using English ModeWhen typing in English mode, press the keylabelled with the character you want:-Once for the first character-Twice for the second characterand so on. This method is called Multi-taptyping.For example, you need to press the 2 key threetimes to display the character “C” and the 5 keytwo times to display the character “K.”The cursor moves to the right when you press adifferent key. When entering the same lettertwice or a different letter on the same key, justwait for a few seconds for the cursor to move tothe right automatically, and then select the nextletter.You can insert a space between the words bypressing the key.1. Press keys on the phone just once per letter.For example, to enter “HELLO,” press the 4,3, 5, 5 and 6 keys.The word that you are typing appears on thedisplay. It may change with each key that youpress.2. Type the complete word before editing ordeleting any keystrokes.3. If the word is correct, insert a space bypressing the key and start entering thenext word.Otherwise, press the 0, Up or Down keyrepeatedly to display alternative word choicesfor the keys that you pressed.Example: Both “OF” and “ME” use the 6 and3 keys. The phone displays the mostcommonly used choice first.To type words not found in Quick English mode,change Text input mode to English mode.Smart PunctuationTo enter periods, hyphens or apostrophes, pressthe 1 key.
