Press the Down key to highlight thePhonebook option.3. Press the OK soft key.The Phone Book entries are listed.4. Enter the name that you wish to find.If you enter the first few letters of the name,the Phone Book entries are listed, startingwith the first entry matching your input.5. To view the highlighted entry, press the Viewsoft key.For further details about the Phone Book feature,see page 34.Using the SMS ServiceIf you receive an SMS (Short Message Service)message during a call, the Message icon ( )flashes on the display. The SMS Service optionenables you to read the message. You can alsowrite a new text message.For further details about the SMS service, referto page 79.Muting or Sending Key TonesThese options allow you to turn the key tones offor on. If the Mute Keys option is selected, yourphone does not transmit the DTMF (Dual ToneMulti-Frequency) tones of the keys, which allowsyou to press keys without hearing annoying keytones during a call.Note: To communicate with answering machines orcomputerised telephone systems, the SendKeys option must be selected.Sending a Sequence of DTMF TonesYou can send the DTMF tones after entering theentire numbers you need to send.This option is helpful for entering a password oran account number when you call an automatedsystem, like a banking service.To send the DTMF tones:1. When you are connected to the teleservicesystem, press the Options soft key.2. Press the Down key to highlight the SendDTMF option.3. Press the OK soft key.4. Enter the number you want to send and pressthe OK soft key.The tones are sent.
