Choose a memory, either SIM or Phone, bypressing the Up or Down key and press theSelect soft key.Note: If you change phones, any numbers storedin your SIM card memory will automaticallybe available with the new phone, whereasany numbers stored in the phone memorymust be stored again.5. Enter a name and press the OK soft key.The maximum length of a name depends onyour SIM card. For information on how to entercharacters, see page 42.The phone now displays the first free location inthe selected memory. If that memory is full, thefirst free location in the other memory isdisplayed.6. If you do not want to save the number andname in the suggested location, press the C keyto clear the location number and enter yourpreferred location by pressing the number keys.7.
