Messages72Broadcast (Menu 1.10)This network service allows you to receive textmessages on various topics, such as the weather ortraffic. Messages are displayed immediately theyare received, provided that:• The phone is in idle mode• The Receive option is set to Enable• The message channel is currently active in thechannel listThe following options are available.Read: lets you view the message. Volatile displaysthe messages from the network, but loses itscontents as soon as the phone is switched off. Scrollthrough the message using the Up and Down keys.While reading a message, press the Save soft keyto store the message in the Archive box for laterretrieval.Receive: allows you to enable or disable thereception of broadcast messages.Channel List: allows you to indicate the channelsfrom which you wish to receive broadcastmessages. The following options are available.Select: used to enable or disable channels in the listby marking or unmarking them respectively.Add Channel: used to declare the ID and title for anew channel.Delete: used to remove a channel from the list.Edit: used to change the ID and title of an existingchannel.Messages73Language: allows you to select your preferredlanguage to be used when displaying cell broadcastmessages.Please contact your service provider for moreinformation.
