For your information an authorised user is theOrange registered customer, other users officially notifiedto Orange by the customer and authorised by Orange, theregistered customer’s spouse/partner, members of his/herimmediate family, all of whom would normally reside at theregistered customer’s address and employees of theregistered customer who use the phone with permission ofthe customer.3.1 Loss, theft or malicious damage claims must bereported to the Police immediately but in any eventwithin 24 hours of discovery of the occurrence. Inrespect of claims arising outside the United Kingdomplease refer to Clause 6.14.3.2 Your claim must be reported to Orange as soon aspossible but in any event not more than 24 hoursafter you discover the loss, theft or damage. Inrespect of claims arising outside the United Kingdomplease refer to Clause 6.14. To make a claim youmust provide the following:3.2.1 the crime reference number in respect of theftor malicious damage claims or the lost propertyreference number if the phone has been lost;3.2.2 full details of how the loss, theft or damageoccurred; and3.2.3 any other information and evidence as mayreasonably be requested by Orange regardingthe cause of loss or damage.3.3 Orange will arrange repair or replacement on behalf ofthe insurers.3.4 Lost, stolen or damaged antennas will berepaired/replaced, where appropriate, free of chargeonce only.3.5 You or any authorised user of the phone must at alltimes act with due care in looking after the phone andtake all reasonable precautions to safeguard it againstloss, theft or damage.4 exclusions4.1 A replacement or repair will not be provided under theterms of the Insurance where the loss or damage iscaused by or consists of:reference129from any other phone. For the purposes of this Insurance‘phone’ means handset, standard battery, SIM cardand charger, originally supplied as part of thestandard package.2.3 The Insurance is arranged with an authorised insurerwhose details are available upon request to HSBCInsurance Brokers Limited, Quay West, Trafford WharfRoad, Manchester, M17 1PL.2.4 The following paragraphs describe the conditions andcover provided under the terms of this Insurancewhich forms part of a master policy arranged byHSBC Insurance Brokers Limited on behalf of Orange.This Insurance is subject to the terms and conditionsof the master policy, a copy of which can be obtainedfrom HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited. Requestsshould be made in writing, stating your Orangephone number.3 cover for lost stolen and damaged phonesYour phone which must be in your possession or in thepossession of an authorised user is insured worldwidesubject to the terms and conditions of the Insurance policy(see clause 6.14 in respect of conditions outside theUnited Kingdom).
