If anyfurther problems are found with the hard disk, the POWERindicator flashes. Please contact the place of purchase if youneed to reformat the hard disk or make backups of anyimages. The hard disk is very sensitive to dust, vibration andshocks, and it should not be used in places near sources ofmagnetic fields. Be sure to observe the following points inorder to prevent any loss of data.• Do not subject the digital video recorder to shocks.• Do not use the digital video recorder in places where it willbe subjected to vibration or places which are unstable.• Do not disconnect the power cord while recording orplayback is in progress.• Do not use in places which are subject to rapid changes intemperature (changes of around 10°C in an hour).• If the digital video recorder is moved to a place with alarge difference in temperature or a high level of humidity,condensation may form. If the digital video recorder isused with condensation inside it, operating problems mayoccur.• Do not install the digital video recorder in places which areconstantly vibrating, such as vehicles or trains.The hard disk and cooling fan areconsumables.• These parts should generally be replaced after 2 years ofuse (for the hard disk) or 3 years of use (for the coolingfan) at normal temperatures of 25°C.
