When the user passwordis entered at the password entry screen, onlyplayback operations can be carried out. When theAdministrator password is entered, all operationscan be carried out.All operations are locked. When the Administrator password is entered,all operations can be carried out.Recording and menu operations are locked.Playback operations are not locked. When the Administratorpassword is entered at the password entry screen,all operations can be carried out.Security lock is not engaged (default setting).Security lock is not engaged (default setting).1 Use the jog dial to move the cursor to REC CONTROL.2 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise, and then use the jog dialto select “ADMIN” or “USER”.This completes the setting.3 Press the EXIT/OSD button.The display returns to the normal screen.D Security lock setting1 At the normal monitoring screen, press and hold theSUHTTLE HOLD button for approximately 3 seconds.The LOCK indicator at the front panel illuminates and thebuzzer sounds.
