Abrasivecleaners, solvents or other harsh chemicals might scratch asurface.When the projector is not in use, replace the Lens Cover.13Lightly wipe Projection Lens with a cleaning cloth.2Follow these steps to clean the projection lens:Air FilterTurn off the projector, and disconnect AC power cord from theAC outlet.Turn the projector upside down and remove air filters by pullingthe latches upward.12Removable air filters prevent dust from accumulating on the surface of optical elements inside the projector. Should airfilters become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce the cooling fans’ effectiveness and may result in internal heat buildup and adversely affect the life of the projector. Clean air filters following the steps below:Clean the air filters with a brush or wash out dust and particles.3 Replace each air filter properly. Make sure that the air filters arefully inserted.4CAUTIONDo not operate the projector with the air filters removed.Dust may accumulate on optical elements inside theprojector degrading picture quality.Do not put small parts into Air Intake Vents. It may result inmalfunction of the projector.RECOMMENDATIONWe recommend avoiding dusty/smoky environments whenoperating a projector. Usage in these environments may causepoor image quality.When using under dusty or smoky conditions, dust may accumulateon or optical elements inside the projector.
