60The WARNING indicator shows the state of the function which protects the projector. Check the state of theWARNING indicator and the POWER indicator to take proper maintenance.wARNING indicatorThe projector is shut down and the wARNINGindicator is blinking redWhen the temperature inside the projector reaches acertain level, the projector will be automatically shut down toprotect the inside of the projector. The POWER indicator isblinking while the projector is being cooled down. When theprojector has cooled down enough (to its normal operatingtemperature), it can be turned on again by pressing the ON/STAND-BY button.The projector is shut down and the wARNINGindicator lights redWhen the projector detects an abnormal condition, it isautomatically shut down to protect the inside of the projectorand the WARNING indicator lights red. In this case, unplugthe AC power cord and reconnect it, and then turn theprojector on once again to verify operation. If the projectorcannot be turned on and the WARNING indicator still lightsred, unplug the AC power cord and contact the servicecenter.CAUTIONDO NOT LEAVE THE PROJECTOR WITH THEAC POWER CORD CONNECTED UNDER ANABNORMAL CONDITION. IT MAY RESULT INFIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK.Maintenance and CleaningTop ControlTop Control Note:The WARNING indicator continues to blink even afterthe temperature inside the projector returns to normal.When the projector is turned on again, the WARNINGindicator stops blinking.Then check the matters below:– Did you provide appropriate space for the projector to beventilated? Check the installing condition to see if the airvents of the projector are not blocked.– Has the projector been installed near an Air-Conditioning/Heating Duct or Vent? Move the installation of theprojector away from the duct or vent.– Is the filter clean?
