– 10 –Fig. 5-1 Internal Bus Communication System2. Internal Communication BusThe SYA block carries out overall control of camera operation by detecting the input from the keyboard and the condition of thecamera circuits. The 8-bit microprocessor reads the signals from each sensor element as input data and outputs this data to thecamera circuits (ASIC) or to the LCD display device as operation mode setting data. Fig. 5-1 shows the internal communicationbetween the 8-bit microprocessor, ASIC and SPARC lite circuits.Table 5-1. 8-bit Microprocessor Port Specification636453-54GND59AV JACK I AV JACK connection terminal (L= connection)VSS1UNREG SY I Camera power voltage input6162XOUT O Main clock oscillation terminal (4 MHz)VDD1 - VDD51 KEY_POWER I Key input POWER (L= input)52 KEY_2ND I Key input 2nd SHUTTER (L= input)5556RESET I Microprocessor reset input (L= reset)57XCIN I Sub clock oscillation terminal (32.768 kHz)58XCOUT O Sub clock oscillation terminal (32.768 kHz)60XIN I Main clock oscillation terminal (4 MHz)8-bitMicroprocessor ASICSREQASIC SOASIC SISCKMRST43 KEY_MENU I Key input MENU (L= input)49 BAT_OFF I47504648NOT USEDNOT USEDNOT USEDOOO---Battery OFF detection (L= battery OFF)Serial communication request signalSREQ I/O44 MR_PANEL_TURN I LCD panel rotation detection (L= panel inversion)45 NOT USED O -TRSTTH_TEMP I Camera temperature detectionSO O Serial data outputSI I Serial data input
