76• Closed captioning – Controls when you see captions.This setting is only offeredfor Antenna TV, the AV input, and streaming videos. Any set value remains ineffect across only these inputs.o Antenna TV – Set captions to off, always on, on only when the TV soundis muted, or on only during instant replay (when Live TV Pause has beenenabled).o AV input – Set captions to off, always on, or on only when the TV sound ismuted.o Streaming video channel – For streaming content that provides closedcaptions, set captions to off, always on, on only when the TV sound ismuted, or on only during instant replay (for streaming content thatsupports instant replay).Note that some streaming channels have othermethods for turning captions on and off. In these cases, the Closedcaptioningoption does not appear on the Optionsmenu.Note:If the button is not available on your remote, you can use thisfeature in the Roku mobile app. For more information, see Getting andusing the Roku mobile app.• Captioning track – Selects which caption track to display when ClosedCaptioning is on.This setting remains in effect on all inputs that providecaptions.• SAP – Selects whether to play a secondary audio program or multichanneltelevision sound, and which choice to play.This setting applies only to AntennaTV on digital channels.
