The parameter sets can be referencedusing the device names %flash% or %disk0%. Each parameter set will includethe following parameters:z LogicalSizez Writeablez BlockSizez Searchablez SearchOrderz Typez Mountedz HasNamesz PhysicalSizez InitializeActionz Freez RemovableWarmstart.ps and Sys/Start FilesWhen either or both the FLASH SIMM or hard disk options are installed,there are two features which provide support for automatic execution of aPostScript program during power-on initialization.The first feature is the warmstart.ps file. Each time the printer is powered on,either or both optional storage devices will be checked for a file namedwarmstart.ps. If this file is found, it will be read and parsed by the PostScriptinterpreter. It is up to the PostScript programmer to create the content of thisfile and get the file onto the storage device using the PostScript device and fileoperators.The second feature is the Sys/Start file. If either or both of the optional storagedevices are installed, an additional parameter will be supported in the SystemParameter set. This parameter is an integer parameter called StartupMode and isset to 1 by default.Note: This parameter can be read or written using the dosysstart andsetdosysstart operators.
