Chapter 4 Control Panel Functions4-114.8 Paper MenuNote: It is important in order to maximize the life and reliability of both theprinter and consumables that the media type setings in the menu matches the type ofmedia which is present in the tray. In addition some media types cannot be fed fromthe optional tray 2 or be used with the optional duplex unit.The Paper Menu provides access to the printer settings for various paper-han-dling functions. Use the following procedure to enter the paper menu:1. Press the MENU button on the control panel.2. Press the NEXT button until the text “Paper Menu” is shown on the sec-ond line of the display.3. Press the SELECT button to enter the Paper menu.4. Press the NEXT button to move through the submenus.5.
