Press the stop (8) [HOME] button to stop automatic recording.TIPBy using this in combination with the PRE REC function, you canrecord events without losing the beginnings of sounds.CAUTION• When the AUTO REC function is on the self-timer function cannotbe used.• A new file cannot be created if the total number of folders andfiles would exceed 5000.• Files shorter than two seconds cannot be created. Moreover, ifthe sampling frequency is 96 kHz, files shorter than four secondscannot be created.• If the name of a newly created file would be the same as that ofan existing file, its number will be increased by one.NOTE• You can also add marks manually.
