TASCAM HS-2000 12512 – Mark and locate functionsEditing mark names1. Select the mark that you want to edit on the MARKLIST screen.2. Touch the EDIT NAME button to open the MARKNAME screen.Follow the procedures in “Editing project names” onpage 40.If you want to edit the name of a BWF-J cue point,touch the BC$ button at the top right to open a cuename pull-down menu where you can select thedesired type.NOTEYou can also open the MARK NAME screen by touchingthe mark name area on the Home Screen.Since the names of automatic marks cannot be edited, theMARK NAME screen will not open for them.Manual locate functionYou can directly input a time to locate to it.Touch the Manual Locate button on the Home Screen toopen the MANUAL LOCATE screen.Touch the FRAME EDIT button to set whether or notthe frame value is editable.Frame editing onFrame editing offThere are three locate modes as follows.ABS: Input an actual time and locate to it.+ : Input the amount of time to go forward from thecurrent time.– : Input the amount of time to go backward from thecurrent time.Input the time using the number buttons.You can also select a unit in the LOCATE area and use theDATA dial to adjust the time.Touch the LOCATE button to locate to that new time andreturn to the Home Screen.Touch the CLEAR button to clear all input values.Touch the CLEAR button to reset all values to 00.NOTEIf the CURRENT time display is set to T/C, the timecode isused as reference for locating times .TIPThis can also be edited using an external keyboard.Press its Enter key to confirm a setting and its ESC key toreset all values to 00.
