(TheCREDITS playback and ON AIR LIST screencheck and file name buttons are also disabled.) Whenyou switch from OFF to ON, the Home Screen timecounter changes to total time display and playbackpauses at the beginning of the first take.ON AIR• button OFF: rehearsal/confirmationplayback modeThe CREDITS playback button is enabled, andlocating to and playing back any part of a file (take) ispossible.When you switch from ON to OFF, the Home Screen timecounter is automatically set to elapsed time display.NOTEThe ON AIR button can only be used when thetransport is stopped.Playback control in on-air modePress the PLAY key to start playback.Press the PAUSE key to pause playback.Press the PLAY key again to resume playback.Press the STOP [RETAKE] key to stop playback.Press the . [MARK .] key or / [MARK /] keyto skip to the next entry.Press and hold the m [ ] or , [ ] key tosearch backward or forward.Press the . [MARK .] or / [MARK /] keywhile pressing and holding the SHIFT key to movebetween marks.Press and hold the m [ ] or , [ ] key whilepressing and holding the SHIFT key to search at high-speed.NOTEOn the• PLAY SETUP screen, you can set whetheronly the currently selected take is played or whetherall the takes in the root folder are played. (See “Playbacksettings (PLAY SETUP)” on page 102.)Playback functions can also be performed using• a remote control connected through the parallelconnector.Credits playbackThis function makes it easy to play just the beginnings offiles.The term “credits” is commonly used in Japan for the audioplayed at the introduction of a program.1. Turn off the ON AIR button on the HOME or ONAIR LIST screen.2. Set the current file (take) using the ON AIR LISTscreen file name buttons or the . and / keys.NOTEOnly playable files can be set as the current take.• After starting up, changing the Fs or activating on-air• mode, the first playable file in the list will be selectedas the current take for playback.3. Touch the CREDITS playback button on the HOMEor ON AIR LIST screen to start credits playbackof the current take from its beginning. Playback stopswhen the appropriate mark is reached.When the Follow BWF-J setting is ON, playback• continues from the beginning of the file to the firstBC$STANDBY mark.When the Follow BWF-J setting is OFF, playback• continues from the beginning of the file to the firstmark.If neither of the above conditions apply, the file plays• until its end and then playback stops.During playback, the take name button of the filebeing played back appears green on the ON AIRLIST screen.4. During credit playback, you can press the CREDITSplayback button to stop playback.NOTEThe take name and CREDITS playback buttons on theON AIR LIST screen can only be used when the ONAIR button is OFF and playback is stopped or duringcredit playback. They cannot be used when the ON AIRbutton is ON or during ordinary playback.
