Section 3 • Scheduled Maintenance ProceduresPart No. 102916 S-100 • S-105 • S-120 • S-125 3 - 1January 2016Observe and Obey:Maintenance inspections shall be completedby a person trained and qualified on themaintenance of this machine.Scheduled maintenance inspections shall becompleted daily, quarterly, six months, annuallyand every two years as specified on theMaintenance Inspection Report.Failure to perform each procedureas presented and scheduled couldresult in death, serious injury orsubstantial machine damage.Immediately tag and remove from service adamaged or malfunctioning machine.Repair any machine damage or malfunctionbefore operating machine.Use only Genie approved replacement parts.Machines that have been out of service for aperiod longer than 3 months must complete thequarterly inspection.Unless otherwise specified, perform eachprocedure with the machine in the followingconfiguration:• Machine parked on a firm, level surface• Boom in the stowed position• Turntable rotated with the boom betweenthe circle-end (yellow arrow) wheels• Turntable secured with the turntablerotation lock pin• Key switch in the off position with thekey removed• Wheels chocked• All external AC power supply disconnectedfrom the machineAbout This SectionThis section contains detailed procedures for eachscheduled maintenance inspection.Each procedure includes a description, safetywarnings and step-by-step instructions.Symbols LegendSafety alert symbol—used to alertpersonnel to potential personalinjury hazards.
