Refer to page 7, if needed.2. Click the Gateway link from the top of the screen.3. Click DHCP from the left side of the screen. The DHCP fields are explainedfollowing this screen example.WAN Connection Type Select the WAN connection type. For each type, differentdata entry is required, as explained below:1. DHCP: The WAN interface is set to be a DHCP client,and the IP address is assigned by the service provider’sDHCP server.2. Static IP: For Static IP, you must manually enter the IPaddress for the WAN interface.3. PPTP (DHCP): For Point to Point Tunneling Protocol(PPTP), you must enter a username, password, and thePPTP server’s IP address.Host Name Enter the host name for the router. This may be required bysome service providers.Domain Name Enter the domain for the router. This may be required bysome service providers.MTU Size Enter the Maximum Transmission Unit size, which definesthe largest size of the packet or frame that the device cantransfer (256-1500).
