This allows for special applications that require specific port numbers withbi-directional traffic to function properly. Applications such as video conferencing,voice, gaming, and some messaging program features may require these specialsettings. Refer to page 35 for more information on how to setup Port Triggering.1. Access the web interface. Refer to page 7, if needed.2. Click the Gateway link from the top of the screen.3. Click Port Triggering from the left side of the screen. The Port Triggering fieldsare explained following this screen example.Label DescriptionTrigger Range The trigger port is a port (or a range of ports) that triggers therouter to record the IP address of the LAN computer that sentthe traffic to a server on the WAN.Start Port Enter a port number or the starting port number in a range ofport numbers.End Port Enter a port number or the ending port number in a range ofport numbers.Target Range Target Range is a port (or a range of ports) that a server on theWAN uses when it responds to service requests.
