The entities covered include:states and statistically equivalent entities, counties andstatistically equivalent entities, named populated and relatedlocation entities (such as, places and county subdivisions),and American Indian and Alaska Native areas.Press MENU. From the MARINE MENU screen,use ▲ or ▼ to select the FIPS option. The screendisplays FIPS Codes and lets you select Add or Exit.Note: You can find your area FIPS codes and other valuabledata from http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm. or bytelephone at 1-888-NWR-SAME [1-888-697-763]Once you locate the code for your county or area,use ▲ or ▼ until the correct number appears on thescreen then press ENTER to select it. Repeat this forall six digits.Enter all the codes you wish, then move to EXIT andENTER to select it.
