Should you not find the information you need contact your distributor.P1.2 A PPLICATION (ID 212)When commissioning or starting up the drive, the user can select one of the preset applicationconfigurations (the one that corresponds best to his/her needs). Preset application configura-tions are predefined parameter sets which will be loaded to the drive when the value of param-eterP1.2 Application is changed. The application selection minimizes the need for manual editing of the parameters and pro-vides an easy commissioning of the Vacon 100 drive. If this parameter is changed by using a (graphical) keypad, selected configuration will be load-ed to drive and an application wizard will be started to assist the user by prompting the basicparameters which are related to the selected application.Following preset application configurations can be selected:0 = Standard1 = Local/Remote2 = Multi-Step Speed3 = PID Control4 = Multi-Purpose5 = Motor PotentiometerNote! Content of theM1 Quick Setup –menu changes, depending on the selected application.P3.1.1.2 M OTOR NOMINAL FREQUENCYNOTE! When this parameter is changed, parameters P3.1.4.2 and P3.1.4.3 will be automatical-ly initialized depending on the selected motor type. See Table 110.P3.1.2.1 CONTROL MODEP3.1.2.2 M OTOR TYPEThis parameter defines the used motor type.Table 108.Selectionnumber Selection name Description0 U/f control (openloop)Drive frequency reference is set to output frequency without slipcompensation. Motor actual speed is finally defined by motor load.1 Speed control (Sensor-less Control)Drive frequency reference is set to motor speed reference. Themotor speed is remains the same regardless of motor load. Slip iscompensated.2 Torque control (openloop)Speed reference is used as maximum speed limit and the motorproduces torque within speed limit to achieve torque reference.
