The height of the zone isapprox. between half a metre andtwo metres off the ground.Side blind spot alert is designed toignore stationary objects, e.g.guardrails, posts, curbs, walls andbeams. Parked vehicles or oncomingvehicles are not detected.FaultOccasional missed alerts can occurunder normal circumstances and willincrease in wet conditions.Side blind spot alert does not operatewhen the left or right corners of therear bumper are covered with mud,dirt, snow, ice, slush, or in heavyrainstorms.
