This allows the signal path to be tested, e.g. through down-stream indicating instruments or the input card of the control system.Select the requested simulation variable and set the requested value.Caution:During simulation, the simulated value is outputted as 4 … 20 mA cur-rent value and as digital HART signal. The status message within thecontext of the asset management function is "Maintenance".Push the [ESC] key to deactivate the simulation.Information:The simulation is terminated automatically 60 minutes after the lastkey has been pressed.The function "Setup" allows the echo curve to be saved at the time ofsetup.Information:This is generally recommended, however, for use of the AssetManagement functions it is absolutely necessary. Saving should becarried out with a very low level.The function "Echo curve memory" allows up to ten individual echocurves to be stored, for example to detect the measurement behav-iour of the sensor in different operating conditions.With the adjustment software PACTware and the PC, the stored echocurves can be displayed with high resolution and used to recognizesignal changes over time. In addition, the echo curve saved duringsetup can also be displayed in the echo curve window and comparedwith the actual echo curve.In this menu item, the internal clock of the sensor is set to the request-ed time and time format.
