In the event of anelectrical short, the Circuit Breaker will openautomatically to remove input power to themachine.When the Circuit Breaker switch is set to the up[ | ] position, input power is supplied to themachine. If the machine will not be used forextended periods, set the Circuit Breaker to thedown [ ] position.Check the Circuit Breaker once a month for proper operation. If you notice any unusualconditions, contact your Xerox Customer Support Center.Note • Before setting the Circuit Breaker to the down position (Off), set the Power Switch (alsocalled the Stand-by Switch) to Off.Checking the Circuit BreakerThe procedure to check that the Circuit Breaker is correctly working is as follows.1 Turn off the power switch on the upper right side of the machine.2 Press the TEST button while Circuit Breaker on lower back of machine is on.If the Circuit Breaker turns off, it shows that it is operating correctly.OnTestButton
