This requires defining several parametersto your host. The required information and configurationprocedures differ according to your connectivity type (channel orTCP/IP), and your host environment. You will need to providethese parameters to your Xerox representative on installationday.Software licensingWhen you purchase a Xerox DocuPrint 100/115/135/155/180EPS, you receive a license to use the operating system software.This license is enabled by entering a 20-character alphanumericstring at the controller. Your Xerox or service representativeobtains this license string for you and enters it when your printingsystem is installed.Ongoing maintenanceAfter the installation of your printing system, there are a fewongoing tasks that must be performed. These tasks may includethe following:• Maintaining an adequate inventory of consumable supplies• Overseeing routine maintenance and meter reporting• Arranging for additional operator training• Ordering additional fonts• Ordering additional documentation• Placing service calls for hardware problems• Obtaining assistance in solving software-related problems
