The job is then formatted and printed as a normaljob.Jobs can be released either locally or remotely, prior tothe specified time. To release a job, select the job in thePrint Queue and selectRelease. The job will be placedat the end of the pending jobs in thePrint Queue andprocessed normally.-Secure Print— enables a password to be entered toprotect a job. The job will be held in a queue and notprinted until the same password is entered at theDC440/432/420.To print the job, select the job in the Print Queue andpress theRelease button. TheSecure Print Login pop-up window prompts a password to be entered to releaseand print the job. If a time-out period is enabled and thejob is not released during this time, the machineautomatically deletes the job.-Sample Print— enables the review of one set of amultiple copy job before final print. After the first proof setis printed the job is placed on hold until released eitherlocally or remotely. SelectRelease to release a job in thePrint Queue. When released, all of the requested copiesare printed. If a time-out period is enabled and the job isnot released prior to the time-out period, the machineautomatically deletes the job.Layout/Watermarks tab used to change the layout of a document and add watermarks.For example, to display the word DRAFT or CONFIDENTIALdiagonally across each page. This feature also adjusts the sizeand placement of the watermark and enables the review of asample page. In addition, documents can be printed 1 Up, 2 Upand so on, up to 16 Up.Booklet Creation is also available fromthis screen.Document Options tab use this screen to select banner sheets, transparencyseparator pages and to set margins.
