Placing a page in the scannerautomatically starts the scanner and sends the image to the destination selected in the One Touchproperties.Scan Using AutoLaunchWhen you insert an item into the scanner, it is automatically scanned and the image is sent to adestination location or application on your computer, or to a network drive.Using AutoLaunch:1. Place an item face up in the paper feed slot, aligned to the arrow on the right side of the scanner.The scanner grabs the top edge of the paper and automatically begins to scan and feed the paperthrough the scanner.2. A scan progress window opens and the image is sent to the selected application for the scan button.In this example the Destination Application is the BizCard software. Note that the business card hasbeen OCR’d and the text is ready for editing.NOTE: Always remove any staples or paper clips from documents before inserting them into thescanner’s paper feed. Staples and paper clips can jam the feed mechanism and scratch the internalcomponents. Also remove any labels, stickers, or Post-It™ notes that may come off during the scanningprocess and get stuck in the scanner. Misuse as described here will void your scanner’s warranty.
