At the printer control panel, press the Machine Status button, then touch the Tools tab.2. Touch General.3. If needed, log in as administrator. Touch an option:− Intelligent Ready causes the printer to wake and sleep based on previous usage patterns.− Job Activated sets the printer to wake when it receives a job.− Scheduled causes the printer to wake and sleep according to a schedule you specify.6. If you selected Job Activated, to change the default low-power and sleep timeout periods, touchEnergy Saver Timers.7. If you selected Scheduled, touch an option.− Energy Saver Timers: This option changes the default low-power and sleep timeout periods.− Scheduled Settings: This option selects the times that you want the printer to wake or sleep foreach day of the week.8.
