Also rinse theoutside of the outboard motor with fresh wa-ter.Cruising in muddy, turbid, or acidic waterYamaha strongly recommends that you usethe optional chromium-plated water pump kit(see page 16) if you use the outboard motor inacidic water or water with a lot of sediment init, such as muddy or turbid (cloudy) water.
