PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT6-1766. Move the hose clamp in the direc-tion shown, and then disconnectthe radiator hose to drain the radi-ator.7. Remove the coolant reservoir byremoving the bolts.8. Remove the coolant reservoir cap,and then turn the coolant reservoirupside down to empty it.9. After the coolant is completelydrained, thoroughly flush the cool-ing system with clean tap water.10. Install the coolant reservoir by in-stalling the bolts.11. Connect the radiator hose, andthen move the hose clamp back toits original position.12. Install the coolant drain bolt, andthen tighten it to the specifiedtorque.TIPCheck the washer for damage and re-place it if necessary.13. Pour the recommended coolantinto the reservoir to the maximumlevel mark, and then install thecoolant reservoir cap.14. Pour the recommended coolantinto the radiator until it is full.15. Install the radiator cap, start theengine, let it idle for several min-utes, and then turn it off.16. Remove the radiator cap to checkthe coolant level in the radiator.
