Basic Call Features109Answering When Not in Another CallProcedure:Do one of the following:- Pick up the handset.- Press the Speakerphone key. The key LED glows green.With the handset on-hook and headset mode deactivated, you can press Answer or theline key on which receives an incoming call.- Press the HEADSET key. The key LED glows green.With the headset mode activated, you can press Answer or the line key on which receivesan incoming call.NoteAnswering When in Another CallIf you are in an active call and an incoming call arrives on the same or a different line, theincoming call information is displayed on the LCD screen.Procedure:1. Press Answer.The incoming call is answered and the original call is placed on hold.If the phone just plays a warning tone instead of displaying the incoming call information, youcan only answer the incoming call after ending the current call. It is configurable by your systemadministrator.NoteYour system administrator can disable you to answer a call by picking up the handset, pressingthe Speakerphone key or HEADSET key.The call waiting should be enabled first, otherwise, the incoming call is automatically rejected bythe phone with a busy message when there is an active call on the phone.
