37• Curtains must not be fitted immediatelybehind the appliance or within 150mm of thesides of the hob. If fitted next to or betweentwo base units a minimum space of 2mmmust be left between each unit and the sidesof the appliance. The levelling feet fitted tothe appliance will achieve a nominal heightto hob of 900mm + 20mm.Leveling the appliance• Adjustment to suit floor conditions or heightis obtained by rotating clockwise or anticlockwise the feet at the front and rear of theappliance. A spirit level should be placed onone of the shelves to confirm the applianceis correctly leveled.Connecting to electricity supplyThis appliance must be earthed.Do not earth this appliance to the gas supplypiping.Connect to 230-240 A.C supply only.• Connection to the electricity supply shouldbe made via a properly earthed, readilyaccessible wall socket.
